Servicing Your Plan – Service Options
There are multiple ways to obtain information about your account, make account transactions, and receive answers to questions you may have about the Plan. ING wants to make it as easy as possible for you to take advantage of the valuable plan benefit made available to you under the State Plan. That means providing you with the service options you want, when you want them.
ING offers participants and employees:
Local Service
You have access to local service support from licensed representatives in-person or over the phone through two ING Kansas Service Centers, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Central Time). Our Topeka Service Center is located at 212 SW 8th St., Suite 100. Our Overland Park Service Center is located at 10740 Nall Ave.
Toll-free Telephone Access
One telephone number provides integrated access to our Topeka Service Center, our national Customer Service Associates, and an automated voice response line. The number is (785) 296-7095 or toll-free (800) 232-0024.
Our national Customer Service Associates (CSAs) are available Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Central Time). You may opt out to a CSA during these hours by pressing 0#.
When accessing ING by telephone, you can select the appropriate option from the menu highlighted below. This menu will be repeated when you call.
Press 1 - If you work for the State and would like to change your fund allocation, request a withdrawal or request a loan.
Press 2 - If you work for the State and would like to change your contribution, update your beneficiary or schedule a review of your account.
Press 3 - If you work for a city, county or other local governmental employer and would like to change your fund allocation.
Press 4 - If you work for a city, county or other local governmental employer and would like to change your contribution, update your beneficiary, schedule a review or request a withdrawal.
Press 5 - If you would like assistance with any other services or would like to speak with a member of our Kansas Service Team in the Topeka Service Center between the hours of 7:30 and 5:00 Monday through Friday.
Internet Access
You can access your account information via the Internet through the ING Access option shown in the left bar menu on this page. Through the Internet, you can make:
Account inquiries
Investment allocation changes
Transfers among investment options
Investment option performance history
Prompt, written confirmation will be sent for all Internet financial transactions
NOTE: You will need your personal identification number (PIN) and Social Security Number to use these self-service features.
Service You Can Depend On
24 hour, 7 day a week toll-free participant account balance information, investment allocation changes, and transfers (via an automated voice response system)
Same day processing of fund transfers and investment allocation changes if the request is received in good order before the close of the New York Stock Exchange.
Prompt, written confirmation of all phone and internet transfers and allocation changes. Transactions will be reflected in your account on the following business day.
Options for hearing and vision impaired employees to conduct toll-free business via telephone, voice carryover, hearing carryover, personal computer, operator assistance, telebraille or voice telephone.
