Enrollment

ING will be holding group enrollment meetings throughout Metro on an ongoing basis. These meetings will provide information about the benefits of participation in MetroMax, the features of the plan, investment options and our services, and provide you the opportunity to complete enrollment materials. We will also be available for one-on-one meetings if you have specific questions that you would like answered in a more comfortable setting.

Enrolling in MetroMax

Who is eligible to participate in MetroMax?

Any employee, officer, or elected or appointed official of Metro with at least twenty hours of work per week, with the exception of contract workers for the Metropolitan Board of Education, the Transit Authority, Nashville Electric Service, and the Metropolitan Development and Housing Authority.

To enroll in MetroMax, you will need to complete:

1. a Participation Agreement that specifies the amount that you wish to contribute to the plan each pay period, and

2. an Enrollment Form that specifies your investment choices. (a minimum contribution of $240 is required under the plan)

The completed Enrollment Form and Participation Agreement must be returned to our local Nashville office. Please note that based on IRS regulations, the earliest date the Agreement can be effective is the first month following the date you complete the Agreement.
