Investment Options
With both the ORP and TDA, you have access to a variety of investment options from some of the country's leading money managers. Each option is designed to achieve a different investment objective, allowing you to tailor a portfolio to help meet your objectives. From the day you enroll, you have the flexibility to shift and divide your money among the various options. This applies not only to current contributions, but to past deposits as well. The chart below shows the investment options available in both plans. By clicking on the fund names listed, you can view a one-page fund fact sheet for each option. The sheets include information on fees and the fund's objective. For complete information about the funding options, please refer to the prospectuses. Early withdrawals prior to age 59˝ may be subject to a 10% federal penalty. Money distributed from the annuity will be taxed as ordinary income in the year the money is received. Account values fluctuate with market conditions and when surrendered, the principal may be worth more or less than its original amount invested. Tax deferral is provided by your employer’s plan and the tax deferral of the annuity does not provide any additional benefit. Annuities may be subject to additional fees and expenses to which other tax-qualified plan funding vehicles may not be subject.
