To help you achieve your financial and retirement goals, the City sponsors a 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan (Plan). Each employee may elect to become a participant of the Plan and defer payment of part of his or her compensation by enrolling in the Plan before the beginning of the month in which the deferral is to be effective.

Saving for retirement requires a good plan and the discipline to follow it. The financial choices you make today can determine the quality of your retirement tomorrow. Smart retirement planning requires accurate information available to you when you need it.
